Today was great way to end the school week before -gulp- the
Prelims. Today was also the last night study sessions. Sigh... In my opinion, it's too little.
Anyway, today's rocked! Probably because Agnes and I shared a lot of secrets and stories. Sorry, guys, but I can't elaborate here. I think I went "awww..." quite a number of times. And by the way, it's that kind of "awww" is the more of the 'awww... That's so sweet!" and not the "awww... How sad."
I shall not elaborate on choir practice. To put it
vaguely simply, it was somewhat better than I expected but not enough if they ever want to get a full-house concert next year. So keep moving forward, Choir!
From watching bits of each section, I have come to this conclusion. After all, this year's big question is "what do you see?", right?
The sopranos are moving forward in a zig-zag position. They're getting there but takes three tines the speed.
The tenors & base are moving side to side. They managed to maintain their standard (which is both a good and a bad thing). When Wiphaporn told them to get serious, they did... For about 10 minutes. Then, they were back to how they were.
As for the altos, well...
In my opinion, I think
they're moving backwards. To be fair, I have higher expectations from my own section so maybe my view is a little distorted. Of course, this view is base on every individual behaviour of all the individuals in the section individually.
Hmm... That's a lot of "individual"s.
Anyway, I have confidence that the choir will manage to pull through. I suppose they need more time to get over their loss of us. xD
Before I end off, just want to send out a few wishes.
Good luck to the sec 4s and 5s for their upcoming Prelims! The final school exam we're going to take in AISS. I wonder if that's a good thing...
All the best to the entire Singapore for those taking their Mother Tongue language O level results next Wednesday. Since what's done is done, I don't have much to say here.
All the best to the entire Singapore for those taking the O level English oral next week! Finally, a chance for adults to fully listen to us blabber all we want.
Last and most definitely not least,
HAPPY 16 BIRTHDAY, LIYANA!!!
Maybe you'll be getting some birthday luck for oral? xD
