I wonder if people get tired of reading my posts about choir as much as I get tired of reading emo posts from my beloved friends' blogs.
So here's something random!
I've just realised that I put in a lot of effort this year to find the perfect birthday presents for my friends. Firstly, presents to my close friends consist of two items. So much for the recession. Agnes's gift consisted of a necklace (which I loved it so much that I considered keeping it) and a handphone accessory. Wiphaporn's was a bookmark and a fridge magnet. Once again, I considered keeping the fridge magnet for myself since it was oh-so-adorable. Well, you get the idea.
Secondly, I'm travelling further in order to get the so-called perfect presents for the said specialised group of people. I went to Lot 1 at CCK for Agnes's present. It was my first time there and I thought Agnes would not go so far to shop when there's always causeway point. Hehes. Anyway, I went to Ngee Ann Poly to get Wiphaporn's and Suria's gifts. It was during SOYA so I know that the merchandise sold there wouldn't be very common. ^^
And just this afternoon on my way to my grandmother's house, I dropped by AMK hub to get a part of Dolly's upcoming gift. Ok, so the other part of her gift was bought in Northpoint but AMK hub is considered quite far for me. Again, I feel like keeping the AMK hub gift since it's so nice. Oh, and I bought You You something. I guess it's to say thank you for the turtle. I still haven't think of a nice name for it since Agnes and Rizqi protested against my first pick. It really is a nice name for a turtle and not a deliberate insult...
But I bought Bing Cheng's present at YJC. *laughs* Not a lot of effort there...
Since this year is my last year, I'm going to put in tons of effort and thought in every present I give. Yay!
