I feel elated today. I finally got to see Dolly!!! And she got me a souvenir. I didn't expect her to. I guess I'll have to get her one if I ever go overseas as well. She gave me a Hello Kitty key chain. Although I'm not a big fan of Hello Kitty, it's just so adorable that I'm happy with it. Thanks Dolly! =)

Choir practice today was tiring. I shouldn't have missed Wednesday's choir practice. I missed so much. Apparently, in one practice, the Choir can learn 2 songs, start on a new French song, notify everyone to bring $5 for the Choir camp and announce who's who in the musical part of the new committee (Sectional Leader, Assistant Sectional Leader, Pianist etc).

So here's our new Choir Committee.

President : Wiphaporn (as expected)
Vice-president : Dolly (!!!) & Cheryl
Treasurer : Sabrina Lee (which is me -.-)
Assistant Treasurer : Shu Hong (my buddy!)
Librarian : Agnes (duh)
Assistant Librarian : Yee Chin (thanks, Agnes!)
*Logistics : Bing Cheng & Fathin (that's new)

*Logistics are the people who are in charge of handling of the costumes and the transportation and food stuff if we were to have a concert.

Soprano-
Sectional Leader : Wiphaporn (expected)
Assistant Sectional Leader : Cheryl (quite obvious)
Alto-
Sectional Leader : Dolly (duh)
Assistant Sectional Leader : Sabrina Lee (me again...) & Sabrina Ang
Tenors & Bass-
Sectioanl Leader : Ze Huan (*shivers*)
Assistant Sectional Leader : Bing Cheng (not bad)
Pianists : Ze Huan, ... ...

Ok. I can't remember who the other two pianists are. Never mind. I'll ask Agnes later. Looking at the new committee, there is hope for the choir. We can still make it. I just wish some people could see that...

Anyway, so I was gone for one day and suddenly the next, Agnes told me that I'm ASL. Seriously, since when? And why didn't anyone tell me that we were suppose to pay $5? Why would "responsible people" telephone me to do so? Fine. I'll just ask the next time. >.>

Moving on, today's sectionals didn't go that well. Dolly was late so I was in charge while she was away. We wasted quite a lot of time and because of that, I had to eat into Sabrina's and Jia Ling's lunchtime. Sorry. =(

In the end, the altos weren't that well prepared for West Side Story. Thank goodness Ms Ong didn't tell us to take out that score and sing it. Because it'll be all my fault if the altos weren't prepared.

Next time, I should come earlier to choir practice next time. I need to brush up on my scales for warm-ups and The Rhythm of Life on the piano.

And I still need to do my homework. Sigh...
